Threshold From a simple desire to make the best wine possible, to capturing the essence of the vineyard and squeezing it into a bottle, comes a wine that is about enjoying the best of Sonoma and Napa.

The Vintages:
2004 Syrah Sonoma Coast Sangiacomo Vineyards Tasting Notes - Our 2004 Syrah begins with a splash of juicy dark berries with just a hint of mint and dark cocoa. The dark fruit flavors have a rich streak of smoky bacon fat and a long finish with a touch of black pepper. Vineyard: Grapes hand selected from an exclusive Sonoma Coast vineyard farmed by the Sangiacomo family. Varietals: 100% Syrah Clones: Syrah Noir, Estrella, & 887 Yeast: D 254, D80 and native Winemakers Notes: Cold soaked at 50-for five days and fermented seven days in small open top tanks. Aged in 40% new French oak, 30% 1 to 2 year old and 30% seasoned barrels for 16 months.

2004 Zinfandel Napa Valley, Mount Veeder Bald Mountain Vineyards Tasting Notes: Rich blackberries with a dark caramel nose and just a touch of earthiness. Juicy berries burst on the palate with a concentration of brown spices, black pepper and well-integrated tannins. A touch of cedar on the finish gives this wine its final big structure. Vineyards: Grapes sourced from Bald Mountain vineyards on the Western edge of Mount Veeder Varietals: 84% Zinfandel, 8% Syrah, & 8% Petite Syrah Yeast: Native
